國共兩黨舉行「朱習會」前後，在野陣營猛烈批評「兩岸關係國共化」，如今「夏張會」落幕，陸客中轉、金門引水都取得具體進展，解決實際的民生問題，我方也在多項爭議問題上清楚表達嚴正立場，這些成果讓「國共化」的指控不攻自破。
在兩岸互信基礎上，夏張會終於談妥在金門20多年懸而未決的用水問題。我們要問，20多年間，也曾歷經民進黨執政，為何無法具體解決，最大的阻礙還是少了兩岸政治互信的基礎「九二共識」。
民進黨執政時期，兩岸交往近乎中斷，原本可作為「白手套」的海基會，只落得剩下「文書驗證」功能。2008年後，兩岸在九二共識互信基礎上，除了海基、海協兩會重啟協商，簽署多項協議，更讓陸委會、國台辦以官銜互稱、對等互動，寫下歷史新頁。
夏張會除了彰顯兩岸官方制度化互動的可貴，同時也凸顯「九二共識」的可操作性。在「九二共識」下的兩岸協商，中華民國不僅沒有消失，反而能在對等的談判桌上與陸方官員交涉，甚至直言表達我方關切，這都是在野陣營無可否認的事實。
