民進黨15日下午舉行中執會，正式提名黨主席蔡英文代表民進黨參選2016總統，台北市長柯文哲上午特別送來「波平浪靜航行千里，峰迴路轉開啟新局」16字中堂到黨中央，給蔡英文祝福；中堂還特別引用蔡上周中國事務委員會中，呼籲北京當局放棄國共框架，兩岸就能「波平浪靜、峰迴路轉」的8字回應兩岸情勢，讓人頗矚目。
民進黨新聞輿情部主任黃重諺說，這幾個字大家可能會覺得有點眼熟，因為「波平浪靜和峰迴路轉」，就是蔡英文在上周中國事務委員會致詞時所提。
日前民進黨中常會，對柯文哲提出的「15共識」，包含蔡英文在內的多位與會高層都頗有疑慮，日前中國事務委員會，蔡也請黨籍縣市長出面背書，也藉機宣示民進黨執政縣市，兩岸交流，不循柯模式意味濃厚，柯送來的中堂，特別引用蔡提出的字句，營造親善氛圍意味濃厚。
